CLIMATE CHANGE

 

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decade to millions of years. It maybe a change on average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions.

        We all know that this climate change has its only two seasons, the wet season and the dry season. These two seasons were experienced yearly but in different corresponding months. With this, the farmers have their seasonal plants, so that it will grow better. There are many kinds of crops but they only have to plant the crops that will be fitted on that season. Like the “palay,” it must be planted when the rainy season is approaching for it goes into different process and it really needs water. We have also different needs in the two seasons. If it’s dry season, we primarily need something that will make us feel cool. While if it’s wet season, we need something that will make us feel warm.

        Climate change is a change in the statistical properties of the climate system when considered over long periods of time, but even if there are many definitions of climate change, we should always be aware of the causes and effects of this to avoid accidents and to have a better living….

REFLECTION

     Everytime I go to school, I always feel dizzy but when I entered the campus most especially when I saw my teachers and my classmates something excitement and thrill is what I fell for I'm thinking what would be the things that we are goping to do just to enjoy our last year in this school.

      Now that we are about to end the second grading period, there were many things that we've done and ofcourse the new facts and information that I've learned in different subjects. Like in ICT, I've learned about the different parts of web browser, the HTML, the tag attributes, font attributes and many more. our teacher and also with our practice teacher thought us also good values as we tackle our lessons.

     As we go mto school everyday, we also encounter problems. In my case my usual problem are my assignments and other requirements. These were the things I encounter during the second grading period but we say that in every problem there is always a solution for God will not give challenges if he knows that we cannot solve it. So what I did is to try my best to make my assignments and projects. I budget my time so I could pass it on time.

      Moving on I will continue the good performances that I had done this grading period and will try my best to change my bad attitudes and hobbies for the better results of my grades.

English Olympics

“Upholding English Proficiency

for Communicative Competence.”

English is considered as the universal language because it is understood by almost all countries around the world. It plays an important role in our lives for we can able to communicate well most especially in business matters.

        We celebrate English Olympics every month of October. The theme for this year’s English Month is “Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence.” It tells us that we should be able to communicate in the use of universal language. In this way, whenever we go, we won’t encounter difficulties in communicating with the other nationalities.

        So the English Club prepared different activities which will enhance the English skills of the students. Some of these activities are declamation, oratorical, smart talk, readers’ theatre and jazz chants. This would help the students practice their English speaking, reading and writing ability.

        English proficiency pertains to the ability to speak, read and write in English. To be considered as truly proficient, you should have an advanced skill in this. We know that English is our universal language and we can communicate to those people in other countries by speaking in English.

“SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubbers

For Sustainable Energy.”

Sustainable energy is accessible, cleaner and more efficient. It grows economies. It lights up homes, schools and hospitals. It empowers local communities and it paves a path out of poverty to greater prosperity of all.

          The National Science Club Month is celebrated every September and this year the theme is, “SCIENTRICITY: Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy.” This revolutionizes itself, becoming more relevant to the prevalent issues of science, technology and environment today. It strives to increase youth’s awareness in the significance of sustainability and energy extraction. Not only would it present practical applications and theories in the concepts of sustainable energy, it will also challenge the science clubbers mentally and physically through fun activities, contests and others.

          National Science Club Month aims to introduce students and teachers to sustainable energy and engage them in the call for its responsible use. So as a concerned student, I do hope that this would be the start of using sustainable energy with manner or simply being a responsible user to develop countries facing the combined challenge and opportunity of transforming existing infrastructure and to develop countries has the opportunity to adopt cleaner and more efficient technology.

MY TEACHER, MY HERO

Teachers Mean A Lot

             A hero is a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent with great strength or ability.

          Teachers are the one who have been our guide since the day we entered in school. They are the one who correct us when we are doing wrong and appreciate every single effort that we do. They are the one who are always there to feed us a bit-full of information that we might use someday. Most of all, teachers inspire us with very enlightening messages that would made us realize things clearer.

          Teachers mold us to be a better and successful person someday and because of the knowledge that they shared and will still impart to the students like me, lots of people can reach and accomplish their goals in life. So saying thank you is not enough to pay the sacrifices you had, but you will serve as one of the inspirations for the fulfillment of our dreams, because you mean a lot to me.

          Heroes are the one who have risked or sacrificed their own lives for other people but sacrificing one’s life isn’t only demonstrated by literally dying. It’s whom you put others above you and that what teachers do. They show great courage and inspire a lot of people which made me admire them very much.

          I know that being a teacher is a rigid task and this made me believe that, my teachers are my heroes.

            

My Insights: Buwan ng Wika 2012

“Tatag ng Wikang Filipino,

Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino”

                We, the Filipinos can now communicate better with each other because of our own language which introduced by the former President Manuel L. Quezon or also known as “Nonong.” Aside from our very brave heroes who fought for our country, he was also one of the people who served as an instrument so that we can able to communicate well and I think he really deserves the title given to him which is “Ama ng Wikang Pambansa.”

                We all know that August is celebrated in the Philippines as “Buwan ng Wika” and the aim in celebrating this event is to highlight the importance of our national language. Another aim also is to emphasize its role as an effective instrument for the economic stability for our nation. There is also a given theme every August and the theme for this year is “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino,” which I do really agree because our national language makes us feel that we are true Filipinos and it serves as a weapon for a better understanding and communicating.

                Our national hero, Dr.  Jose Rizal said “Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay daig pa ang malansang isda.” As a young Filipino, I hope that his words serves as a reminder to all of us that we owe it to our future generations to keep our national language alive by using,enriching ang making it response to the needs of the times, while preserving what makes it distinctly Filipino.
