Reflection

"MY THIRD GRADING LIFE"

Tik!Tok!Tik!Tok!... Another grading period had passed and I had experienced a lot of things again during that grading period. I have met new people, discovered new facts, learned new things not only about my studies but also about good traits that I must apply in my daily life and ofcourse I laughed an cried together with my classmates.

During the third grading period, I also encountered problems and challenges most especially about my studies. One of my problem is about my assignments and other requirements. We had lots of projects to be pass. So, I had this "time management." I budget my free time in making these requirements and fortunately I did it. I was able to pass my assignments, projects and other requirements.

Moving on, I will continue my goor performances that made me a better student during the third grading period and will try my best to change my bad attitudes and behaviors for the better result of my grades. Even if, I still have to study very hard in preparation for our college life. It will no longer very hard for me to study in college.

New Year, New Me

"HEY, IT'S ME!"

Most of us thought when new year comes, we always say that it's a chance of new life for us. It was a new beginning of having a new life full of hopes and promises to have a better ahead.

Ofcourse, starting my life in this year, I had made some lists of things which I am going to do to have a more meaningful life in this year which we called "new year's resolution." One of my resolution is to become more responsible as a daughter, as a sister, as a friend, as a student and as a person. I will do my best to be an independent individual. I know that there's nothing wrong in asking for help but it would not help you in molding yourself. Another is to become more matured in every aspects of our lives most especially when deciding. I will try to act according to my age. Maybe that this resolution is funny but I also included it--should not into a relationship. This is because, I should focus on my studies first for I think love can wait if that is really for me. So, I decided not to be in a relationship.

That was just some of my resolutions that I made for if I'm going to narrate them all, it would took so long. I just hope that they would just accept the new me in this year. I hope that this will be a good year for me.

Essence of Christmas

THE SPIRIT...

Christmas is a very a special season. It is a season of joy of peace and of great tidings. It is the season where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who was born in a stable, surrounded by farm animals in Bethlehem.

We celebrate Christmas every 25th day of December, but before that special day, there would be his so called "simbang gabi" which starts from December 16 until the midnight or December 24. There would be lots of children who will have their caroling and ofcourse you'll really going to fell that it was already Christmas through the different decorations of houses. So, when that special season comes, the families reunites. They will all welcome the Christmas together. After they had the mass, they will eat their "noche buena" together. They will give their gifts to each other while happily talking and greeting each other.

Christmas is not just the time for festivity and marry making. It is more than that. It is also the time  for the contemplation of eternal things. So, aside from remembering the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas spirit is also the spirit of giving, forgiving and loving.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities:Progress For All

EQUALITY!!!...

Why is that, they do prefer to have or choose male workers than female workers? Why is it that, the men have better works or better life than the women most especially during the early times?

The theme for the International Women's Day this year is, "Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities:Progress For All." This re-emphasizes that equal rights and opportunities lead to improve life outcomes from women. For discrimination towards women in one of the persuasive human rights violation. It severely limits the ability of women and the communities they live in to protect and promote themselves most especially their health.

For me, this also promotes the "gender-awareness act" wherein the women and men will be treated equally in whatever aspect of our lives, most especially when it comes to job offers. It's not because that the men have stronger body, the women were no longer permitted to be one of the workers. The gender should not be the reason in entering or having a good life.

Applying or having the equal rights of every person will have equal  opportunities to have a better life that will result to a progressive life of all. If you will also allow your companions to have their rights as an individual like you, I'm sure that both of you will also have the same opportunity which lead to a progressive life. 

CLIMATE CHANGE

 

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decade to millions of years. It maybe a change on average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions.

        We all know that this climate change has its only two seasons, the wet season and the dry season. These two seasons were experienced yearly but in different corresponding months. With this, the farmers have their seasonal plants, so that it will grow better. There are many kinds of crops but they only have to plant the crops that will be fitted on that season. Like the “palay,” it must be planted when the rainy season is approaching for it goes into different process and it really needs water. We have also different needs in the two seasons. If it’s dry season, we primarily need something that will make us feel cool. While if it’s wet season, we need something that will make us feel warm.

        Climate change is a change in the statistical properties of the climate system when considered over long periods of time, but even if there are many definitions of climate change, we should always be aware of the causes and effects of this to avoid accidents and to have a better living….

REFLECTION

     Everytime I go to school, I always feel dizzy but when I entered the campus most especially when I saw my teachers and my classmates something excitement and thrill is what I fell for I'm thinking what would be the things that we are goping to do just to enjoy our last year in this school.

      Now that we are about to end the second grading period, there were many things that we've done and ofcourse the new facts and information that I've learned in different subjects. Like in ICT, I've learned about the different parts of web browser, the HTML, the tag attributes, font attributes and many more. our teacher and also with our practice teacher thought us also good values as we tackle our lessons.

     As we go mto school everyday, we also encounter problems. In my case my usual problem are my assignments and other requirements. These were the things I encounter during the second grading period but we say that in every problem there is always a solution for God will not give challenges if he knows that we cannot solve it. So what I did is to try my best to make my assignments and projects. I budget my time so I could pass it on time.

      Moving on I will continue the good performances that I had done this grading period and will try my best to change my bad attitudes and hobbies for the better results of my grades.

English Olympics

“Upholding English Proficiency

for Communicative Competence.”

English is considered as the universal language because it is understood by almost all countries around the world. It plays an important role in our lives for we can able to communicate well most especially in business matters.

        We celebrate English Olympics every month of October. The theme for this year’s English Month is “Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence.” It tells us that we should be able to communicate in the use of universal language. In this way, whenever we go, we won’t encounter difficulties in communicating with the other nationalities.

        So the English Club prepared different activities which will enhance the English skills of the students. Some of these activities are declamation, oratorical, smart talk, readers’ theatre and jazz chants. This would help the students practice their English speaking, reading and writing ability.

        English proficiency pertains to the ability to speak, read and write in English. To be considered as truly proficient, you should have an advanced skill in this. We know that English is our universal language and we can communicate to those people in other countries by speaking in English.
